This is the fourth café-dining restaurant popular for its pancakes, following the first in Namba, Osaka, and the second in Tokyo and Kyoto. The menu is one of the most extensive of all the stores, and can be enjoyed all day long, from sweets to food, including morning meals such as eggs Benedict and open sandwiches, healthy lunches such as fried soybean meat and brown rice omelette, and dinners using organic vegetables directly shipped from the production area. The Japanese modern-inspired store also offers a menu of drinks and sweets using matcha green tea, which is prepared in the store. A full takeout menu including pita sandwiches and doughnuts is available, and picnic sets can be rented for outdoor enjoyment.

Fluffy ricotta pancakes 1,750 yen

The meringue is made after the order is placed, and the pancakes are baked slowly for about 15 minutes, giving them a fluffy texture that melts in your mouth. The pancakes are made with ricotta cheese and gold eggs that have been carefully raised, and are light on the aftertaste due to the minimal amount of flour. Pair it with a matcha latte made with matcha from Kitagawa Hanbei, a matcha wholesaler in Uji, for 700 yen.
